Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375.
  2. Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla into cream mixture.
  4. Separately, combine flour, salt and baking soda then add to the cream mixture.
  5. Add the oats and chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet (2 tsp = 1 cookie) and bake 10 minutes.
  7. Let cool for 15 minutes on a plate before storing in a container to ensure freshness.
