Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 350°.
  2. Melt butter and let cool slightly.
  3. Stir in brown sugar.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla, then dry ingredients.
  5. Bake in a 9 x 13 pan for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
