Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 -3 tbsp honey (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Put water into a medium saucepan.
  2. Add oats, butter & cinnamon.
  3. Heat mixture over high heat - stirring often - until it begins to bubble.
  4. Reduce heat to low.
  5. Stir in honey - or your preferred sweetener.
  6. Let the oatmeal cook over low heat until it has reached the desired thickness. (The longer you cook it, the thicker it will get).
