Ingredients:

  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups karo syrup
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup nuts

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, karo, and hot water.
  2. Boil until when tested in cold water it will crack.
  3. Pour over beaten whites of 2 eggs, stirring constantly.
  4. Until it is very stiff.
  5. Add vanilla and 1 cup nuts.
  6. Pour in pan or make into loaf.
