Directions:

  1. Boil potatoes and turnips in the same pot, until a fork easily goes into both veggies.
  2. *If you want a mellow garlic flavor, add the peeled garlic cloves whole and boil with veggies.
  3. Drain veggies and return to pot, add butter and enough half and half to gain the consistancy you prefer, Mash well
  4. *If you want a stronger garlic flavor, crush cloves into veggies before you mash veggies. Mix well and heat through again.
  5. Salt and pepper to taste.
