My Favorite Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of hershey's coca
  • small pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of half and half
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

  1. Combine All Ingredients In A 2 Qt. Heavy Metal Saucepan. Stir Until All Lumps Are Dissolved. Cook and Stir On Med. High Until All Sugar is Dissolved and Mixture Feels Smooth.
  2. When Candy Begins to Boil, Reduce Heat to Low and Stop Stirring.
  3. Continue Cooking to the Soft Ball Stage, Remove from heat and add Butter. When Fudge Is Cool to the Touch, Add Vanilla and Beat Until It Begins to Solidify.
  4. Quickly Add Chopped Pecans and Cherries and Transfer to An 8 x 8 Buttered Dish.
  5. Let Set for 25 Minutes and Then Cut Into Squares, Cover and Store in a Cool Place.
