Monte Cristo Baked Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 16 slices bread
  • 8 slices ham
  • 8 slices turkey
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp onion salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oleo

Directions:

  1. Arrange 8 slices bread in greased 9x13 casserole.
  2. Top each with one slice ham, turkey, cheese and bread.
  3. Mix eggs, milk and seasonings.
  4. Pour over sandwiches.
  5. Chill overnight.
  6. Top with crackers or cereal crumbs and margarine.
  7. Bake at 350 for 1 and 1/4 hours.
