Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Soften yeast in warm water.
  2. Mix all other ingredients well, except flour.
  3. Add yeast mixture & beat well.
  4. Gradually add sifted flour to make a firm dough.
  5. Turn out onto floured surface & knead 5-10 mins til no longer sticky, adding flour if necessary.
  6. Put in greased bowl, cover with towel & let rise 1 hr or until doubled in size.
  7. Punch down and put in well greased 1 1/2 QT casserole or bread pan (9 x 4) and let rise 30 mins.
  8. Bake 40 mins at 350.
  9. Turn out & brush top with melted butter.
