Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger

Directions:

  1. Mix oil, sugar, molasses, and egg together.
  2. Stir together the dry ingredients and add to the wet ingredients.
  3. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  4. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.
  5. They may look slightly underdone when you take them out, but don't overbake or they won't be nice and chewy.
