Moist & Chewy Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine peanut butter, Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed with mixer until well blended.
  4. Add egg and beat just until blended.
  5. In a separate bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda.
  6. Add to creamed mixture and mix well with mixer on low speed.
  7. Drop by heaping teaspoonsful 2 apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Flatten slightly with fork tines.
  9. Bake 7-8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown.
  10. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing.
  11. Store in airtight container.
  12. Makes 3 dozen.
