Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs beets
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup salt
  • 3 tbsp mint jelly
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Pare beets and cut into cubes.
  2. Bring salted water to a boil and add beets, reduce heat and simmer for about 40 minutes or until tender.
  3. Drain beets and add butter and jelly, continue cooking until beets are glazed.
