Milk Chocolate Almond Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups margarine
  • 2 cups brown sugar , packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 2/3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup slivered almonds, lightly toasted

Directions:

  1. Cream margarine & both sugars in large bowl.
  2. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  3. Add almond flavouring.
  4. Stir flour, baking soda & salt into sugar mixture.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add chocolate chips & almonds.
  7. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
