Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cup pecan halves
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, milk and salt in a 3 quart casserole bowl; mix well.
  2. Add butter and microwave on high for 10 to 12 minutes. Check to make
  3. Sure mixture has reached the soft ball stage. Add pecans and vanilla.
  4. Cool slightly. Drop by tablespoons onto wax paper to set up
