Ingredients:

  • 1 cup crisco
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins (or chocolate chips)

Directions:

  1. Cream together Crisco and sugars; stir in eggs, water, and vanilla.
  2. Add dry ingredients, stirring to blend.
  3. Mix in raisins (or chocolate chips).
  4. Drop by half teaspoonsful onto greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees F or 12 minutes.
  6. (Do not let cookies get too brown or they will burn on the bottom.).
