  1. Preheat oven to 325-degrees.
  2. Lightly coat baking sheets with nonfat cooking spray.
  3. Cream the sugar and butter at medium speed of a mixer until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  4. Add extracts, egg, egg white; beat well.
  5. Combine flour, baking soda, and spices; stir well. Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating well.
  6. Drop dough by level tablespoons onto baking sheets.
  7. Bake 10 minutes; let cool on pans 1 minute, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
