Maduros (Sauteed Sweet Plantains)

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (1/2-inch- thick) slices soft black plantains (about 6)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; toss well.
  2. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add plantains; sauté 5 minutes or until browned and tender.
