M&m's Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup m
  • 1/2 cup large marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • additional m

Directions:

  1. For the cookie heat oven to 375°F
  2. Grease baking sheets.
  3. In a medium bowl sift together flour, baking soda, salt & cocoa.
  4. In a large bowl cream together sugar & shortening, then add egg.
  5. Add flour mixture and mix together.
  6. Add vanilla, milk & mini baking bits. Mix together.
  7. Drop onto prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 mininutes.
  9. Top each cookie with a marshmallow. Bake 3 mins longer.
  10. Remove from cookie sheet and allow to cool.
  11. For the frosting, mix butter, water, confectioners sugar and cocoa powder until smooth.
  12. Frost cookies, after cookies are frosted sprinkle with the additional M&M's Mini Baking Chocolate Bits.
