Lip Smacking Apple Yam Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 (29 oz) can yams
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray cooking spray on 8x11 casserole dish.
  3. Dice and core apples and add to dish.
  4. Drain most of the juice from the yams and add to dish.
  5. In a small sauce pan on medium heat, add brown sugar, water, butter, and cinnamon.
  6. When the mixture is completely liquefied, add to apples and yams.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes.
