Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Beat eggs until fluffy.
  2. Add sugar gradually.
  3. Stir in sifted dry ingredients.
  4. Add vanilla, nuts and apples; mix well.
  5. Pour into a greased 8-inch square pan.
  6. Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes.
