Libby's so Easy Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 -2 tsp almond extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 375º.
  2. In large bowl, beat 3/4 cup sugar, butter, oil, milk, almond (or vanilla) extract and egg until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt; blend well.
  4. Spread evenly in ungreased 15x10 baking pan; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar.
  5. Bake at 375º for 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown.
  6. Cool 5 minutes.
  7. Cut into squares.
