Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 4 tbsp of flour
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 5 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk

Directions:

  1. Cream butter, add sugar, flour, salt, lemon juice and rind.
  2. Add beaten egg yolks and milk.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  4. Gradually blend the two together.
  5. Pour into 6 buttered custard cups.
  6. Set cups in pan and fill pan with water halfway up the cups.
  7. Bake at 325 degrees 30 minutes until set and lightly brown.
