Lazy Man or Do' Boy Perogies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine egg, water, flour and salt to make dough mixture.
  2. This will be like a batter.
  3. Boil 4 cups salted water.
  4. Drop teaspoonful of dough into water, and boil 5 minutes.
  5. This makes little balls.
  6. I like to put dough on wooden board and scoop out teaspoon of dough.
  7. Fry onion in butter or margarine, until soft and golden.
  8. Add potatoes to onion in pan.
  9. Stir to mix.
  10. Add dough balls until butter is absorbed.
  11. Serve with sour cream.
  12. I like to put this mixture into a casserole and sprinkle about 1 cup or so grated sharp cheddar cheese and put under broiler until melted. I like the chewy texture of the cheese on top.
