Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream , whipped

Directions:

  1. Combine cream, milk, honey, sugar, salt and lavender in double boiler.
  2. Cook for 10 minutes over hot simmering water, stir frequently.
  3. In a small bowl, beat the egg yolks.
  4. Add 1/2 cup of custard to the yolks, mixing well.
  5. Return to double boiler and stir until thickens.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Strain custard to remove lavender and put in a bowl.
  8. Put waxed paper across custard to prevent skin from forming.
  9. Chill until set.
  10. Before serving, whip cream and fold in custard.
