Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening, butter and sugars; add eggs and vanilla.
  2. Add flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. Add oatmeal, nuts and whatever you like use teaspoon to drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake 10 minutes at 350°.
  5. Do not overbake.
  6. Remove from the oven while still soft.
