Ingredients:

  • 200 g couscous
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • hot water
  • for the filling
  • 500 g quark
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp honey

Directions:

  1. Soak couscous in hot water, stir in salt, butter and honey. Set aside for 20 minutes. Stir in eggs. For the filling whisk quark, cream cheese, eggs, honey and lemon zest together. Preheat oven to 200°C. Place baking paper in a round form, place half of the couscous on the bottom, add the filling and cover with the rest of the couscous. Bake for about 40 minutes. From lemon juice and honey cook a syrup, serve with chopped nuts.
