Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1-1/2 sticks unsalted butter

Directions:

  1. In bowl combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and oatmeal
  2. Cut in butter until crumbly
  3. Press *half * of mixture in ungreased pan*
  4. Spread jam over top
  5. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for asbout 20-25 minutes or until golden
  7. *NOTE: Can make them in a square, small rectangle or larger rectangle pan. The larger pan will produce thinner bars.
