Ingredients:

  • 3 cups vodka
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water

Directions:

  1. Heat sugar with the water over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Cool.
  3. Pour into a 2 quart container.
  4. Add desired fruit and the 3 cups of vodka. Stir gently and cover with a tightly covered lid.
  5. Let stand in a cool dark place for 2 to 4 weeks.
  6. Strain through several layers of cheesecloth. If not yet clear, pour again through a coffee filter.
  7. Seal tightly in a clean bottle and store.
