Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute onions in 1 tablespoon of oil.
  2. When onions are translucent, add brussels sprouts.
  3. Stirring occasionally, cook until sprouts are brown,but not charred.
  4. Add salt, 1 teaspoon Chhaya's all-purpose powder Chhaya's All-Purpose Curry Powder, and water.
  5. Cover pan and cook on medium heat until water goes away and sprouts are caramelized.
  6. In a tiny pan heat the remaining oil. Add mustard seeds and cook until they turn grey and pop.
  7. Add urad dal to the mustard seeds and cook until they turn brown.
  8. Add this mixture to the sprouts.
  9. Squeeze 1/2 lemon on top and serve.
