Hot Dog Onion Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 2 medium onions, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/8 tsp chili powder
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions:

  1. In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion slices.
  3. Saute about 7-10 minutes until golden& limp.
  4. Mix in the ketchup.
  5. Add the cinnamon, chili powder, garlic powder,hot pepper sauce& salt.
  6. Pour in water.
  7. Stir.
  8. Bring to a boil.
  9. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered about 10 minutes.
