Hot Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions:

  1. Melt chocolate over hot water (I use a heavy sauce pan instead); add butter and pour water on gradually. Bring to boiling point, add sugar and corn syrup.
  2. Boil 5 minutes, cool slightly, add vanilla and salt.
