This was my mom's. When she made my brother, sister and I got all giggly in anticipation. It's good. Really good. Enjoy!! Serve over vanilla ice cream. Ingredients:
1 unsweetened chocolate square |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/3 cup boiling water |
1 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons corn syrup |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Melt chocolate over hot water (I use a heavy sauce pan instead); add butter and pour water on gradually. Bring to boiling point, add sugar and corn syrup.
2. Boil 5 minutes, cool slightly, add vanilla and salt.
