Hot Buttered Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 cinnamon sticks (4 inches), optional

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir the water, lemon juice, sugar and lemon peel until sugar is dissolved. Pour into mugs; dot each with butter. Serve with a cinnamon stick if desired. Yield: 4 servings (about 1 cup each).
