Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar dissolves; cool syrup.
  2. Mix syrup with lemon and lime juices; chill until cold; keep covered in refrigerator for up to one week.
  3. Note: This mixture is great for most cocktails, but for margaritas you may want to reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup.
