  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a larger mixing bowl combine brown sugar, butter, sugar, maple syrup and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Add in espresso granules and eggs. Mix in dry ingredients until thoroughly combined. Stir in chocolate chunks and walnut pieces. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop cookie dough by rounded spoonfuls onto parchment paper. Bake for 12 minutes. After baking, place cookies on a cooling rack and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Serve with milk.
