Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped ( walnuts or pecans are good)

Directions:

  1. BASE - Preheat oven to 350*. Mix butter, brown sugar and graham flour to form a dough. Pat evenly into a 9 x 13 pan that you have sprayed with cooking spray (or greased with butter). Bake 350* for 12-15 minutes.
  2. TOPPING - Lower oven temperature to 325*. Beat eggs, vanilla, brown sugar, flour and baking powder for 1 minute on low speed of a mixer.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  4. Spread over crust.
  5. Return to oven and bake 325* for 25-30 minutes.
