Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 then toast hazelnuts and remove husks then coarsely chop.
  2. Lightly butter a rectangular baking pan.
  3. Melt 1 cup butter in heavy large saucepan over low heat.
  4. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, eggs, cocoa and vanilla then stir in flour and salt.
  5. Add chopped chocolate and nuts then spread batter in prepared pan.
  6. Bake until tester inserted in center comes out barely moist but not wet about 30 minutes.
  7. Cool in pan on rack. Then cut into squares.
