Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 lb diced ham
  • 4 small carrots
  • 1 medium potato
  • 14 1/2 oz diced tomatos
  • 14 1/2 oz black eyed peas
  • 10 cup water
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Directions:

  1. Chop onions and garlic, put in pot with ham
  2. Add 8 cups of the water
  3. Then add rest of ingredients plus rest of water
  4. Boil hard for about 3 hours then simmer until ready to eat
