  1. Making the Halloween Sweet Potatoes or Yams:
  2. 1. Open your oven door and check inside for Ghosts or Goblins...! When your hands stop shaking...
  3. 2. Then preheat your oven to 400°F. Continue with the Halloween recipe if you can...!!!
  4. Cook sweet potatoes in large pot of boiling water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain; transfer potatoes to large bowl and add butter. Using your electric mixer, beat until smooth. Add egg, sugar, spice and salt; beat to blend. Transfer mixture to 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Bake potatoes until beginning to brown around edges and slightly puffed, about 25 minutes. Remove from oven.
  5. Instructions For Topping:
  6. While the sweet potatoes are baking, prepare the dirt topping:
  7. Mix together all the dirt ingredients in a medium bowl.
  8. Spoon topping evenly over the sweet potatoes. Return to oven and bake until golden brown and crisp, about 10 minutes longer.
  9. It's very easy to make and tastes so good...! Can be used for the holidays too. Delicious...!
  10. Serves 6 to 8 and is guaranteed to keep family werewolves howling, and Halloween ghosts gobbling until the stroke of Midnight...!!!.
