Ingredients:

  • 2 teas. olive oil
  • 2 cup. chpped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup. chopped celery
  • 1 cup. tomato diced
  • 1 1/2 cup. chickpeas, drained
  • 2 teas. paprika
  • 1 teas each tumeric, basil, & salt
  • dash of cayenne and cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. tamari

Directions:

  1. Saute the onion, sweet potato, and garlic in the olive oil for 5 minutes
  2. Add the stock
  3. Add all the seasonings except the tamari
  4. Simmer for 15 minutes
  5. Add the celery, tomato, green pepper and chick peas
  6. Simmer until the vegetable are tender.
  7. Add the tamari just before serving.
