Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 lb raisins (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and eggs with sugar. Add flour mixed with baking powder and salt, alternately with pineapple and warm milk. Add lemon and vanilla. Dredge gum drops and raisins wirth 1/2 cup flour. Add coconut and mix.
  2. Bake at 325°F Place a pan of water in oven with loaves for moisture.
