Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup grits

Directions:

  1. Bring water, milk and salt to a boil.
  2. Add the grits and stir.
  3. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Grated cheddar cheese and/or garlic may be added at the end of cooking.
