Green Beans Y'all won't Believe!

Ingredients:

  • 2 (16 oz) cans blue lake green beans
  • 10 slices bacon
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp vinegar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Drain beans and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet cook bacon until crisp.
  4. Remove bacon, drain and crumble reserving drippings in skillet.
  5. Stir sugar and vinegar into drippings and heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  6. In a 1 1/2 quart casserole, layer half of the beans, half of the bacon and half of the almonds.
  7. Repeat layering.
  8. Pour dripping mixture over all and bake 45 minutes or until heated through.
