Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  1. Mix: oats, flour, brown sugar, butter, baking soda and salt then press on bottom of 8x8 pan.
  2. Boil: dates, sugar and water until thick.
  3. Bake 20-30 minutes in 375 F oven.
  4. Cool before serving.
