Grandma's Poor Man's Pie

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup sugar (you can use white or brown , but grandma always used white.)
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • butter , pats

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350º.
  2. Mix the cream, sugar, and flour.
  3. Pour into an unbaked 8 pie shell.
  4. Float several thin pats of butter on top.
  5. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg.
  6. Bake at 350º for 30-45 minutes or until top is a nice golden brown.
  7. Chill, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
