Grandma's Apple Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Stir the apples and sugar together and set aside for an hour or until much of the juice from the apples has been pulled out.
  2. Meanwhile, sift all of the dry goods together and set aside.
  3. Pour the apple mixture, oil, and eggs into the dry goods, and stir until just combined. Pour into a prepared 9 x 13 pan and bake at 325 for 50-60 minutes.
  4. Enjoy.
