Grandma Lou Lou's Pumpkin Cookies With Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 cups flour
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1 (29 oz) can pumpkin
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mix oil and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
  3. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices and salt.
  4. Slowly and alternately add flour mixture and pumpkin to the sugar mixture.
  5. Lastly add vanilla.
  6. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minute.
  8. For frosting: cream cream cheese, butter and vanilla.
  9. Gradually stir in powdered sugar.
