Grandma K's Incredible Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 4 overripe mashed bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together well. Bananas must be overripe.
  2. Add 3/4 cup chocolate chips to mix if desired.
  3. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top if desired.
  4. Divide batter evenly into 2 greased loaf pans.
  5. Use 2 pans to avoid loaf being undercooked in the middle.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Do not overcook or dry it out.
  7. Enjoy!
