Grandma Huber's Knepfla Soup

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cream

Directions:

  1. Mix flour, eggs, salt, and enough water to make a stiff dough.
  2. Knead.
  3. Boil a few quarts of water in soup pot.
  4. Cut dough into bits with a scissors and drop into boiling water.
  5. Boil a few minutes till cooked.
  6. Add cream.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste, sliced celery, cubed potatoes, onion, and boil until tender.
  8. We like to add a bit of vinegar when eating!
  9. Yum!
  10. Sorry I know everything isn't measured out exactly, but is easy to change to everyone's liking.
