Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Grease and lightly flour two small loaf pans.
  3. In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar together until blended.
  4. Add eggs and beat until fluffy and light.
  5. Add tangerine rind.
  6. In another bowl stir the flour, baking powder and salt together until blended.
  7. Toss walnuts with the one tablespoon of flour until all pieces are lightly coated.
  8. Blend flour mixture into creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
  9. Fold walnuts into the batter until blended.
  10. Turn into the prepared pans and bake 45 minutes.
  11. Combine juice and sugar in a small pan to make the glaze.
  12. Heat just until sugar is dissolved.
  13. Poke the hot loaves with a skewer or toothpick in several places and pour syrup over them.
  14. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes then remove and finish cooling on a rack.
