Gingerbread Wedges With Lemon Glaze

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F. grease cookie sheet with shortening
  2. Mix all ingredients except lwmon glaze until soft dough forms.
  3. Place on surface sprinkled with additional bisquick;roll in bisquick to coat
  4. Shape in ball; knead 10 times
  5. Pat dough into and 8 inch circle on cookie sheet
  6. Cut into 8 wedges, but do not separate.............
  7. Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until set and starting to brown.
  8. Make lemon glaze; drizzle over warm wedges
  9. Carefully separate wedges serve warm.............

  13. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine melted
  14. 1 teaspoon grated fresh lemon peel
  15. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  16. Mix powdered sugar , butter, and lemon peel; stir in lemon juice until smooth enough to drizzle over gingerbread...........
